Reqtest Releases AI and update our terms and services

On June 5th, Reqtest will release AI functionality and we will also update our terms of services regarding AI. In the first release of AI functionality in Reqtest, you will receive assistance in writing and further developing requirements. More functionality will be available in the future, such as help in creating test cases from requirements, creating larger requirement sets, and managing program management. The goal is for AI to support and streamline all activities in Reqtest.
💡 Q&A about AI
How do I activate AI in our license?
When we release our new AI functionality, it is disabled in your license. To activate AI, you need to contact us. In connection with this, we will review whether we need a specific contract appendix to manage AI, or if updating the terms of services is sufficient.
Once this is resolved, we can activate AI for you. Thereafter, each project can choose whether AI should be activated or not. This is done in the project settings.
What type of AI does Reqtest use?
Reqtest uses Llama 3.3, which is Meta’s LLM. AI is provided by Nebius, a Dutch-listed company. The server hosting the AI is located in Finland.
How is data handled?
All data handled by AI is within the EU, specifically Finland. Reqtest and Nebius do NOT have the right to use the data for training. NO data sent via AI may be personal data.
For example, the data that AI handles are the free text fields you have for your requirement, e.g., title, description, etc. If you use AI, this data will be sent to AI for processing. No personal data, such as your name and other user information, may be sent.
Handling of data as described above will be managed in Reqtest’s updated terms of services. (see below)
How will Reqtest’s new terms of services look?
We will add a point 14 in our terms of services, which will look as follows.
