ReQtest clients – Glentel

A ReQtest customer since January 2011, Glentel Inc is a leading provider of innovative and reliable telecommunications services and solutions in Canada and the United States.

The company was founded in 1963, and is headquartered in Burnaby, British Columbia. Glentel’s three operating divisions – Retail Canada, Retail US and Business – each service thousands of consumers and commercial communications customers, and the company operates 304 stores across Canada and 177 retail locations in the United States. Glentel has been publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange since 1983, and was named Burnaby’s “Business of the Year” in 2007.

Glentel had chosen ReQtest upon a project manager’s recommendation and have not looked back since. The three person team at Glentel which uses ReQtest is comprised of testers who, for the most part, use the test case module of ReQtest.

As to other tools, upon comparison, the team at Glentel insists that ReQtest is simpler to use and understand, while still being entirely appropriate for testing. Other tools include specialised tools which the team at Glentel frankly does not need, and sees no reason to pay for.
