Transitio partners with Reqtest to quality assure their new fleet management system

AB Transitio is implementing a new Fleet Management System during 2024. It’s a complex project involving a multitude of traffic companies, integrations, and up to 50 testers from the organization. To test the system and succeed in the implementation, they have chosen Reqtest as their QA management tool.

AB Transitio procures, finances, and manages rail vehicles for 20 Swedish public transport authorities. In order to meet EU requirements, improve safety, and streamline fleet management, Transitio will implement the Trimble Rail E2M system during 2024. It’s a complex project where testing of the system needs to be done with particular precision. Therefore, it was no coincidence that the choice of QA tool fell on Reqtest.

– AB Transitio is undergoing a very large and complex system change that affects regional train traffic throughout Sweden. Such an extensive implementation requires careful and systematic testing, primarily to ensure that all traffic safety requirements are met. After evaluating various testing tools, Transitio assessed that Reqtest best meets the project’s needs for a tool that supports testing and acceptance of the new system, says Magnus von Bahr, CEO of Transitio.

Henrik Andreasson, CEO of Reqtest, agrees:

– Considering the scope of the project and its impact on train traffic in Sweden, we are very proud that Transitio has chosen Reqtest for quality assurance. The tool is well suited for this type of complex system implementation, and there is no doubt that they have all the conditions to succeed.
